Terms of service

These terms apply when you use our website or hire Web Manzil. Your written quote adds the specifics for your project. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.

1. Our services

Web Manzil provides three services: Web Launch (websites), Web Social (AI-generated social media content) and Web Automate (AI receptionist and automation). What is included in your project is listed in your quote.

2. Quotes and payment

  • Quotes are in Canadian dollars and are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
  • Work starts once you accept the quote and pay the deposit shown on it.
  • The remaining balance for one-time projects is due before launch or handover.
  • Monthly services are billed in advance each month.
  • Applicable taxes are added where required.

3. Third-party costs

Domain names, hosting, phone numbers, text messages, call minutes and other third-party services are either paid by you directly to the provider or listed separately in your quote. Those providers have their own terms and may change their prices.

4. Timelines

Most websites go live in 5–7 days from the day we receive everything we need from you. This is our usual timeline, not a guarantee. Delays in receiving content, feedback or approvals from you extend the timeline.

5. What we need from you

  • Accurate information about your business, services and offers.
  • Content you have the right to use, such as your photos, logo and text.
  • Timely feedback and approvals.
  • Access to the accounts we need for the work, such as your domain or Google Business Profile.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give us and for making sure your business claims, offers and prices are true.

6. Revisions and approval

You review the work before it goes live. The number of revision rounds is stated in your quote. Changes beyond that, or new requests after approval, are quoted separately.

7. Ownership

  • Once you have paid in full, you own the website and content we created for you and can use them for your business.
  • Your domain name and hosting account are registered in your name.
  • We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, methods and code libraries, and give you a licence to use any that are part of your project.
  • Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio.

8. AI-generated content

Web Social content and some other deliverables are created with AI tools. We review them before delivery and use music and visuals cleared for commercial use. You are responsible for checking the content before posting, for labelling it as AI-generated where a platform or law requires it, and for what is published on your own accounts.

9. AI receptionist and automations

  • The AI receptionist tells callers they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
  • AI tools can make mistakes. Please review bookings and messages, and do not rely on these tools for emergencies or for medical, legal or financial advice.
  • You confirm that you have the right to contact the customers whose details you give us, and that marketing messages go only to people who have agreed to receive them, as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation requires.
  • You are responsible for telling your own customers how their information is used.

10. No guarantee of results

We work to bring you more calls, bookings and quote requests, but we cannot guarantee specific results, such as a search ranking, a number of followers, or a level of sales.

11. Cancelling

  • One-time projects: you can cancel at any time in writing. Work completed up to that point is payable, and the deposit covers work already done.
  • Monthly services: you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. Service continues until the end of the paid period.
  • We may pause or end a service if invoices are unpaid or the service is used unlawfully.

12. Limits on our liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, or for problems caused by third-party services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in question in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

13. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

15. Changes and contact
